The best of both worlds is what I like to call these locations….and they really are the best of both. Location one is beautiful and classic in every way…from it’s white marble pillars to it’s stone bridge and gorgeous trees…Location 2 is just across the way, and offers the perfect taste of Urban…Right color, texture and all around cool vibe. Kara was the perfect model, and could pull both looks off perfectly. Sweetly feminine, and urban edgy. We had so much fun, along with her sister Anna and friend Demi, who I might add were champion reflector holders. LOL! Kara is such a beautiful girl…quiet and shy at one level, but a real sparkle underneath. I enjoyed our session so much, and had a lot of fun editing the Urban shots in the “blip signature” style. Kara…I hope like your sneak peek. I am looking forward to editing your session and sharing the rest!

Megan is the younger sister of one of my past clients, but we had never met. When she stepped out of the car…with her gorgeous dark hair and eyes I was shocked…not because she was stunning, but the exact opposite of her sister (who is blond with blue eyes)….It was such a fun surprise really! She is stunning and was a real natural during our session. She just has that “look” so to speak…like that you see in some of the high fashion models. I really enjoyed everything about her session, including processing a few images for this sneak peek. I have to tell you, that these inspired me to do what I love to do…artistically edit. I had a ball working with these couple of images and I think they ROCK! There are just a few here…and no worries Megan…I processed traditionally as well, but I am hoping that you love this as much as I do. Thanks for such a wonderful session. It was so fun for me, and I hope for you as well.

I cannot believe I am posting about Kara. Where has the time gone? Kara is the 2nd daughter of our dear friends, AND…the younger sister of my very first senior spokes-model EVER….Holly! Holly helped to get this all started, and I am eternally grateful this family for supporting me in the venture and my interest in working with seniors from the very start. I feel like I owe them so much! The day I worked with Kara’s sister I knew that this is what I wanted to do. I LOVE working with high school seniors, and Kara was among the very best!!!! I have known Kara for a while, and when you see girls every day, coming home from sports (Kara is a gymnast), picking up younger siblings etc… It stops you in your tracks when they arrive for their session…because they are just so striking when they are ready for their portraits…suddenly very chic! Kara is about the sweetest girl. I love her. She is always so pleasant…even when the chips are down (like her horrible broken foot last year
)…..She is just one of those people who is “sunshine”. I think her pictures capture that essence. Her smile and her smiling eyes tell it all. She just has such a positive spirit. Being around her makes you feel good! Kara…I think you look so beautiful. You are lovely, photogenic, and just a really great girl!!!!! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek of your senior portraits.

Lindsay is another stunningly beautiful girl I had the pleasure of photographing at Sharon Woods. We met 6 months prior at a BFF session I shot in a foot of snow….I thought then, WOW…I hope she decides to have me take her senior portraits because I bet she would be amazing front and center…and I was right. She is lovely inside and out, and I think her pictures are just beautiful. She is a natural…with beautiful eyes, and a vibrant smile. Lindsay left our session to go directly to the Mason High School first home football game (FUN!!!) dressed in her Camouflage best and ready to show some senior spirit (and this class has it !!!!!) A far cry from the quiet glamour I saw during our session, but I wish I could see those pics. I bet they’re great!!!! Hope you had fun Lindsay…at our session and at the football game. Enjoy a little sneak peek of your session. I can hardly narrow it down, but I grabbed a few b/c I had to get something here. LOL!!!!!!

Megan is such a beautiful girl…both inside and out! She is just so genuine and sweet and I am so delighted that she chose me to take her senior portraits. I enjoyed our session around Mason so much…it was a welcome change and she was just a stunning model. We enjoyed some of my favorite local spots, the light was just right, and she couldn’t have looked more lovely. She is such so very much the proverbial “girl next door” so it was especially fun when we pulled out one of her dance costumes and at this location with the light coming down on the horizon she showed a very dramatic and more edgy side. It was a very fun surprise…and I LOVE those pics so much!!!! Enjoy your sneak peek of Megan’s senior portraits!

I love that Lindsey wanted t mix things up a bit and try something new. We choose Spring Grove Arboretum for her session, and it was such a gorgeous evening. The grounds of this historic location are amazing. I just love it here. The Marble buildings and classic pillars with the contrast of a gorgeous landscape and classic English inspired architecture in the buildings all around the grounds. Lindsey didn’t disappoint either! She looked beautiful and we had a very enjoyable evening. Lindsey is such a great girl, and I know that her senior year and beyond will be equally fantastic. Thanks for choosing Blip in Time Lindsey…I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Kayla was so much fun during our session classic session at Sharon Woods. She was very excited for her senior portraits which makes it so much fun for me too!!!! She looked so beautiful that night too….like the classic all American Girl next door. Just gorgeous!!! I am used to seeing many of these girls after sports practices etc… that it’s almost a shock to see them so glamourus. It’s amazing really. I LOVE Kayla’s gorgeous blue eyes and the perfect freckles. I hope you enjoy seeing a sneak peek at Kayla’s senior portraits. Thanks so much Laura (mom) and Kayla, for such a nice evening!!!!! I loved it!

Clients Maegan and Rachel are such nice girls…BFFs….members of both the Mason Manta Rays and the Lakota West Swim Teams. I remember meeting these girls for the first time, together at Indiana University of all places. They were traveling to swim camp at IU the same week that I was sending my 8 year old to the same overnight camp…OMG…I was a basket case. It was so comforting to know that these great girls (on their team from home) were there and that they would somehow keep a watchful eye on my baby. LOL!!!! Well, my girl was fine, and over the years I have gotten to know these girls better and have grown to like them both more and more. I can always count on a warm hello and a smile. It’s really nice!!! So it would stand to reason that their school BFFs would be much like them, sweet, warm and really down to earth. I had a lot of fun with this group at our BFF mini session in the darling town of Lebanon Ohio…..and here are a few sneak peeks of our session……with some more of the classic blip Polaroid shots as the feature here. Enjoy girls !!!!!!!

Ellen was one of my first 2010 seniors this year, and we had the most amazing session. She is such a fun girl. I just love her lighthearted spirit and the way she laughs — she just lights up a room!!! I got to see the “true” Ellen though with her bffs during our mini session. She was exactly like I imagined her to be….they all were so comfortable with each other and just went with it and had a good time. We did some blip in time classics (like the polarolid shot) and we did some fun new things too…like the bubble gum machine and the ice cream shoppe. The Ice Cream Shop in Downtown Lebanon is so darling and has the yummiest treats. Be sure to stop in the next time you are visting downtown Lebanon (right on Broadway). Here are a few from the BFF session…and I will likely post a couple of more I am working on….they are too cute to not share…but just for now, here is a a little peek at Ellen and her BFFs!!!!!

One of the most popular things that I have done for the past several years is the bff session. Did you know that Blip In Time is the “original” BFF !!!! Being fun, silly and creative with groups of seniors is so much fun…one of the most fun things that I do actually. This year as in years past I have offered BFF mini sessions on select days for my senior clients. This particular day I had four mini sessions…this year we got to try out my new antique gumball machine….SOOOOO COOL!!!! This is Mimi….Mason HS grad (and 2008 client)…we never did get to finish her session before she left for college, so it was so amazing that we could do one for her now! What a fun group too!!! I hope you like a sneak peek of you session Mimi and Co. I had a ball doing it for you!
For all you other BFFs…your pics are on their way to you….each session is being edited in the order it was completed!
