margaret…my last senior of the season {mason, ohio senior portrait photographer}

Posted on November 26, 2009

I cannot believe I am even saying this…WOW!  What an amazing senior season it has been.  Margaret, beautiful Mason Senior, was the perfect way to end the senior portrait season.  She was so sweet, and fun to be with.  We had a really great time at our session, and enjoyed especially the sun setting between the trees on that cool November evening.  It’s been such a pleasure working with ALL my seniors this season.  There are far too many highlights to even point out.  Fabulous!!!  But as the holidays approach, and yearbook submission deadlines loom (some are even past), it is time to wrap it up for the season enjoy the season with my family.  Thank you to ALL my seniors…and Margaret you too.  You were willing to wait until very late in the season to have me take your pics, and I am so honored by that.  I hope that you love them.  Thanks so much for a great session…editing them put a smile on my face!!!

Blip in Time will start back up again this spring.  Juniors, please consider booking this summer vs. waiting until fall as sessions are limited…and so is your time.  There are many more availablites during the summer!!!  So don’t wait.  Sessions were completely SOLD OUT as of September 15th this year.

Kyle - class of 2010 { mason ohio senior portrait photographer }

Posted on November 25, 2009

My session with Kyle was one I was really looking forward to!  He was a young man really excited about his senior year and having his portraits taken.  I knew this session wouldn’t disappoint…and it didn’t.  The pictures are really awesome.  What I wasn’t prepared for was the drama I would create with the single biggest mishap I have ever had during a session.  When I think about it half of me is hysterical with laughter….the other half of me is horrified.  Why you ask?  Because when describing to this awesome client (and his sister) where and how I wanted them to stand the fence gave way and I (in all my clumsy glory) when flying backward down the hill with camera in hand.  Jumped up….said “I’m OK…Let’s go”….and we finished up this session all smiles and boy was Kyle great.  Next day I was sorer that I have ever been…and had a broken finger to boot…but really it was OK.  I was really just so relieved it was me and not them!!!  Thanks to Kyle’s mom too for helping me dig out my cell phone from the large pile of leaves on the hill.  haha!!!!!!   Kyle…I loved our session.  Thanks so much for picking me…and for being such a great guy.

Kait’s Senior Portraits {mason ohio senior portrait photographer}

Posted on November 23, 2009

This is Kait.  I have known Kait (and her sisters) as the adorbable sporty girls “next door”  for a while now, but nothing prepared me for how glamous she would be in her senior portraits.  She did such an amazing job during our session.  GORGEOUS is all I have to say.  Her eyes sparkled…her skin was flawless…and she photographed like a model…stunning!  Kait…I hope you enjoy this sneak peek to your senior portraits.  I will be so anxious to know if you love them as much as I do!

What great fun to work with twins Alli and Charlie out at Sharon Woods a few weeks back.  They are just so fun…and great together.  No doubt the best of friends!!!!  Our session was great, but now as I edit these I am blown away by the EYES!!!  OMG…you are going to think in the last one I did something to color of both of thier eyes, but honest to goodness….NOTHING DONE.  Straight out of the camera they were sapphire blue.  Now I have worked with LOTS of gorgeous blue eyes before, but these take the prize as the bluest ever, and when the light hits them just right they are just unreal.  Anyway…enough said…here are Alli and Charlie…

Alyssa and I enjoyed her “classic” session on a beautiful fall day out at Sharon Woods.  It was lovely and so was she!!!  The Golden Leaves along the water were at their height and the prettiest I have ever seen in years.  What where the chances she would choose a similar color to wear that day.  Enjoy your sneak peek Alyssa.  I loved working with you!!

Jordan is such a fun girl!!  We met a year ago, and I knew that I wanted her to represent my studio.  She is just adorable, has a great style and even better personality.  She is just fun to be around.  I really enjoyed our classic session out at Sharon Woods, and we got a wonderful variety of portraits.  Here is a small sneak peek of Jordan’s session…then back to proofing for me.  I apologize to my clients as my blogging and such are behind.  My family was hit hard by the flu and it’s really thrown me a curve!!!  Keep checking back over the next few days as I expect lots of blogging and galleries will be going up!!!!  Thanks for your patience.

Abbey joined me out on the beautiful grounds of the Heritage Club, right here in Mason for a wonderful session.  It was a cold cold day, but that didn’t stop Abbey.  She really toughed it out, and honestly if I didn’t know how chilly it was I wouldn’t even be able to tell from the pictures (she even went to far as to dip her feet in the creek…and it was only just about 40 degrees outside).  She was so happy to be there…to be a senior, and she was so relaxed and really, it shows!!!!  Thanks Abbey for a wonderful session.  You were so much fun to work with.  Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Simonne … class of 2010 {mason/cincinnati senior photographer}

Posted on October 11, 2009

You might remember Simone from earlier this year.  I had the unique experience of photographing her before prom.  She looked so pretty that night, and our senior session was no exception.  She has a unique almost exotic look to her with her long wavy dark hair, and big dark eyes.  She is one of those girls depending upon the setting and the clothing her look can change in an instant.  From little girl to very grown up and almost mysterious.  This visit started off with a little diversion….we shot a few pics with her sweet new puppy “Penny” and OMG…I am in love.  Penny is just about the cutest, sweetest cuddly puppy I have ever seen.  It’s a good think I had too much in my camera bag cause I might have slipped that pup in there and ran.  LOL!!!!  Anyway, here is a small peek at Simonne’s senior portraits.  I think she looks stunning!!!!!

Well……I had posted this yesterday, but sometimes a quick edit is necessary because an image just sings to me artistically.  I am adding one here b/c for whatever reason I LOVE IT!!!!  Artistically is perfect….and the model, well….she is breathtaking!!!!  I hope you like it too Simone…I just had to add it here.  It is processed in the Blip Signature Style, and it just works perfect for this one.  Can’t wait to share the rest of your gallery later today!!!!!!

and here it is…..my favorite (among many!!!!)…………

The best of both worlds is what I like to call these locations….and they really are the best of both.  Location one is beautiful and classic in every way…from it’s white marble pillars to it’s stone bridge and gorgeous trees…Location 2 is just across the way, and offers the perfect taste of Urban…Right color, texture and all around cool vibe.  Kara was the perfect model, and could pull both looks off perfectly.  Sweetly feminine, and urban edgy.  We had so much fun, along with her sister Anna and friend Demi, who I might add were champion reflector holders.  LOL!  Kara is such a beautiful girl…quiet and shy at one level, but a real sparkle underneath.  I enjoyed our session so much, and had a lot of fun editing the Urban shots in the “blip signature” style.  Kara…I hope like your sneak peek.  I am looking forward to editing your session and sharing the rest!
